Welcome to Sayreville Engine Company No. 1

Formed in 1916, Sayreville Engine Company No. 1 is joined by President Park, Morgan and Melrose fire companies to compose the Sayreville Fire Department. This 100% volunteer organization protects the nearly 19 square miles and roughly 44,000 residents, responding to approximately 900 calls town wide annually.

We're always looking for new members. If you are interested in joining you will need to pick up an application from the Borough Clerk's office at 167 Main St - 3rd floor - Room 303 and drop it off at the station.
